Gulliver's Travels
Gulliver’s Travel is a adventure fantasy comedy film that was released last December of 2010. It was loosely based on the 18th century Jonathan Swift classic Gulliver’s Travel. The film was directed by Rob Letterman and starred Jack Black as Gulliver, Emily Blunt, Jason Segel, and Amanda Peet.
The plot of the film centered to Lemuel Gulliver – a man who work all his life at the mail room of New York City newspaper. But he then had problems with his job that resulted to his depression. This depression urge him to present himself to his long term crush Darcy Silverman, a writer, that he too dreams to be a writer and he has travels to a lot of places. Darcy believed in him and gave him a task which was to travel to Bermuda Triangle and write a story about the mysterious disappearing of ships in that area. Left with no choice, Gulliver went on the trip that later on had brought him into a mysterious place called Lilliput. Gulliver then discovers that Lilliput had tiny towns people which basically made him more so like a giant in that place. At first, he was called and treated as a monster by the townspeople because he is different from then. But later on, Gulliver proved that he is worthy of the townspeople trust.
The film was distributed by 20th Century Fox and earned a grossed income of $237,382,724 worldwide from the budget of $100 million.

She's out of my League
“How can a 10 go for a 5?”
She’s out of my League is a romantic comedy film distributed by Paramount Pictures and released in March of 2010.
The story revolves in Kirk Kettner who was a low esteemed guy in his mid-twenties met Molly McCleish – a rated 10 chick who happens to take a flight in the airport where Kirk is working.
Unexpectedly, Kirk and Molly got well together and later on had a relationship. However, Kirk was discouraged by his friends saying that he is no good for Molly. Kirk, having low esteemed was discourage and loses hope in their relationship. Not knowing that Molly loved him even if he is a 5 because he was a real gentleman and he was not like other guys. Learning this, he tries to win back Molly’s heart and at the same time build his self esteem to prove that he is worthy of Molly’s love.
The main characters were portrayed by Jay Baruchel as Kirk Kettner, Alice Eve as Molly McCleish. Other casts were Lindsay Sloane, T.J. Miller, Nate Torrence, Debra Jo Rupp, and Adam LeFevre.
The film grossed an income of $49,219,151 worldwide from the budget of $20 million and received a mix of positive and negative reviews from critics.

Robin Hood
The action-adventure film Robin Hood is an American/British film that was based on the legend of Robin Hood. This was basically one of the most awaited film last 2010 since it was based on a very well known character or rather hero – Robin Hood or better known as Robin Longstride.
Robin Longstride was just a common archer but later on when he saw how the wealthy and powerful people abused his fellowmen, he tends to fight back and became a vigilante of good.
In his time, the wealthy and powerful people were taking the money and as well as the food of those who were poor, saying that it is their tax. When Robin saw this, he held a plan that they are going to rob the tax collectors and give back to the citizens the money that they have stolen. Basically, the film emphasis of how Robin became a hero on his own way by helping the needy and abused.
The main character in this film was portrayed by Russell Crowe as Robin Hood. Other casts were Danny Huston, Jonathan Zaccai, Kate Blanchett, Matthew Macfadyen, and many more talented stars.
It was released in both United Kingdom and United States last May 2010 and grossed the income of #321,669,730 worldwide.

Last Airbender
The film The Last Airbender is an adventure-fantasy movie that was based from Nickelodeon animated fantasy series “Avatar”.
The movie focused on the adventure of the Avatar – or the chosen protector of balance among the four nations – Air, Water, Earth, and Fire. The Avatar is said to be the only one to be able to control all the four elements of air, water, earth, and fire, and he is able to go through and talk to the spirits in the spirit world. The Avatar are said to be reborn every generation after one Avatar dies. In this time, the Avatar was said to be born in the Air Nation. The Fire Lord, who was the leader of the Fire Nation, was so overwhelmed by great power to control all the four Nations ordered to destroy and kill all the Air benders of the Air Nation. Aang, the chosen Air Bender, although unintentionally, he had escaped the tragic end of the Air Nation because he ran away earlier before the siege being not able to decide whether or not to accept his destiny as the Avatar.
The casts were Noah Ringer who portrayed Aang – the Last Airbender and the Avatar, Nicola Perltz as Katara – a waterbender from the southern tribe, Jackson Rathbone as Sokka – Katara’s older brother and a genius, Dev Patel as Prince Zuko of the Fire Nation and son of the Fire Lord.

Despicable Me
The movie Despicable Me is a science-fiction comedy animated film by Universal Pictures and Illumination Entertainment that was released in 3D.
The plot focused on Felonious Gru who was trying his best to become the best super-villain in the world. But then losses to Vector after Vector successfully stole the Pyramid of Giza. He then tries to get a loan at the Bank of Evil in order to proceed with his plan of stealing the moon.
The loan he filed at the Bank of Evil was denied by the bank president because of the interior motives of the bank president. Frustrated by not having the loan he needed, he then tries to infiltrate Vector’s laboratory. At first, all of his plans was not working in infiltrating the lab, but he then later on discovered a new way to get into Vector’s laboratory. The new way he used to get into Vector’s lab not only infiltrated his rival’s lab, but as well as infiltrated his own heart.
The main cast were Steve Carell as Felonious Gru, Russel Brand as Dr. Nefario (Felonious Gru’s partner), Julie Andrews ( his mother), Will Arnett as the Bank of Evil’s president, and Jason Segel as Vector.
