Super 8

Super 8 is an American science fiction adventure film that was based from the plot written and directed by J. J. Abrams. The film was created under the production studios of Bad Robot Productions, and Amblin Entertainment under the distribution of Paramount Pictures.

The plot of the film focused on a small town in Lillian, Ohio where weird things started to happen. Now, it was up to 6 teenagers to investigate what was going on and help try to save their endangered town.

It received mostly positive reviews from the critics and has earned its box office hit by having the total gross revenue of $244,080,617 from the budget of $50 million.

The sci-fi film starred a cast ensemble including the main child actors and actress: Joel Courtney as Joseph "Joe" Lamb, Elle Fanning as Alice "Allie" Dainard, Ryan Lee as Cary, Gabriel Basso as Martin, Zach Mills as Preston, and David Gallagher as Donny. Other stars were Kyle Chandler as Jackson "Jack" Lamb, Ron Eldard as Louis Dainard, Noah Emmerich as Colonel Nelec, Bruce Greenwood as "Cooper", Riley Griffiths as Charles Kaznyk, Michael Hitchcock as Deputy Rosko, Remy Thorne as Jorge Brooks, and Glynn Turman as Dr. Thomas Woodward.

Something Borrowed

Something Borrowed is an American romance comedy film that was released May of 2011.  The film was based from the book written by Emily Giffin entitled “Something Borrowed” and was directed by Luke Greenfield. It was created under the production studios of Alcon Entertainment and was distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures in the United States and Canada, PVR Pictures in India, and internationally by Summit Entertainment.

The film focused on two bestfriends Rachel White and Darcy Rhone. Upon celebrating her 30th birthday, Rachel gets upset by the fact that she is still single, and unintentionally got herself drunk together with a colleague from law school, Dex. The next morning, they woke up in the same bed and realize that something happened between them the other night. The main problem is that Dex happens to be the fiancé of Rachel’s bestfriend Darcy and is about to be married in 61 days.

The main characters in the film were portrayed by Ginnifer Goodwin as Rachel White, Kate Hudson as Darcy Rhone, John Krasinski as Ethan, Colin Egglesfield as Dex Thaler, Steve Howey as Marcus, Ashley Williams as Claire, Geoff Pierson as Mr. Thaler, and Jill Eikenberry as Mrs. Thaler.

Perfume: The Story of a Murderer is a film based from the 1985 novel by Patrick Süskind titled Perfume. The German thriller film was directed by Tom Tykwer under the production studios of Constantin Film, VIP Medienfunds 4, Neff Productions, and Castelao Productions. The film earned an average of positive comments from the critics film reviews and had earned a box office hit by earning a total gross revenue of $135,039,943 from the budget of $63.7 million.

It composed of a main cast ensemble including Ben Whishaw as the main protagonist Jean-Baptiste Grenouille, Other characters were portrayed by Dustin Hoffman as Giuseppe Baldini, Alan Rickman as Antoine Richis , Rachel Hurd-Wood as Laura Richis, and Karoline Herfurthas the girl who is selling plums and who happens to be Jean-Baptiste’s first centre of affection.

The plot of the film centred on a young man you had an incredibly unusual strong sense of smell and developed the liking or rather strong aim of creating a perfume which preserves the scent of a woman. This strong will evidently lead him to commit murder in order to fulfil his goal.

Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides is a 2011 action fantasy adventure film from Disney and the fourth sequel if the Pirates of the Caribbean series. The film was based from the novel of Tim Powers titled On Stranger Tides and was under the direction of Rob Marshall and was produced by Jerry Bruckheimer. Jerry Bruckheimer Films was the studio that created the fantasy film and was distributed by Walt Disney Pictures. It earned its box office hit by gaining a total gorss revenue of $1,039,041,782 from the budget of $150-$250 million worldwide.

The plot of the film focused on another adventure of the well-known pirate jack Sparrow in search of the fountain of youth where he met again Angelica who turned out to be the long lost daughter of the ruthless Blackbeard.

Repo Men

Repo Men is a 2010 thriller science-fiction movie which was based from the novel written by Eric Garcia titled Repossession Mambo. The film was directed by Miguel Sapochnik under the production studios Relativity Media and Stuber Pictures, and was distributed by Universal Pictures. It was composed by the cast ensemble that includes the main role by Jude Law as Remy, a repo man, Forest Whitaker as Jake Freivald, Remy's partner, and Liev Schreiber as Frank Mercer, Remy's boss. Other supporting stars were Carice van Houten as Carol, Remy's wife, Chandler Canterbury as Peter, RZA as T-Bone, Yvette Nicole Brown as Rhodesia,  and John Leguizamo as Asbury.

The film focused in a century where artificial organ is widely sold and used in the market. Remy is one of the “Repo” man together with his partner Jake Freivard. Their job is to repossess the organs from the patient customers who were unable to pay their bills or those who are overdue. Everything was going well and Remy was about to take his last job when he encountered a device malfunction accident which caused him the need to use an artificial heart. Due to this, he was unable to perform his usual daily “repo” job and later on finds himself in the irony where he is now the one who is running away from being repossessed.
