Something Borrowed is an American romance comedy film that was released May of 2011. The film was based from the book written by Emily Giffin entitled “Something Borrowed” and was directed by Luke Greenfield. It was created under the production studios of Alcon Entertainment and was distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures in the United States and Canada, PVR Pictures in India, and internationally by Summit Entertainment.
The film focused on two bestfriends Rachel White and Darcy Rhone. Upon celebrating her 30th birthday, Rachel gets upset by the fact that she is still single, and unintentionally got herself drunk together with a colleague from law school, Dex. The next morning, they woke up in the same bed and realize that something happened between them the other night. The main problem is that Dex happens to be the fiancé of Rachel’s bestfriend Darcy and is about to be married in 61 days.
The main characters in the film were portrayed by Ginnifer Goodwin as Rachel White, Kate Hudson as Darcy Rhone, John Krasinski as Ethan, Colin Egglesfield as Dex Thaler, Steve Howey as Marcus, Ashley Williams as Claire, Geoff Pierson as Mr. Thaler, and Jill Eikenberry as Mrs. Thaler.
