The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader is the third instalment of the fantasy adventure film series of Narnia which was originally based on its third published book titled The Voyage of Dawn Treader written by C. S. Lewis. Unlike the two previous sequel of the film, The Voyage of dawn Treader was directed by Michael Apted and was distributed under 20th Century Fox. It earned a total gross income of $415,686,217 from the budget of $140-$155 million.
The plot of the film centred three Narnian years after the Pevensie sibling had returned to Narnia for the second time and met Prince Caspian. The two youngest of the Pevensie siblings Lucy and Edmund were able to return to Narnia however, this time not with Peter and Susan but with their cousin Eustace Scrubb. Again their paths crossed with Prince Caspian who was this time already a King and was on the journey of retrieving and saving the seven missing Lords of their kingdom and as well as to save Narnia from the evil that is corrupting on the dark island.
The characters in the fantasy film were portrayed by Ben Barnes as King Caspian, Georgie Henley as Lucy Pevensie, Skandar Keynes as Edmund Pevensie, Will Poulter as Eustace Scrubb, Simon Pegg as the voice of Reepicheep, Gary Sweet as Lord Drinian, Liam Neeson as the voice of Aslan, Laura Brent as Lilliandill, Bille Brown as Coriakin, William Moseley as Peter Pevensie, Anna Popplewell as Susan Pevensie, and Tilda Swinton as Jadis, the White Witch.
