Push is an American science-fiction film that was based from the creative works written by David Bourla under the direction of Paul McGuigan. It was created under the development studio of Icon Productions and was released under the distribution of Summit Entertainment and Icon Film Distribution.
The film focused on exceptional people who had super power skills including telekinetic powers, clairvoyants, mind controllers that can implant memories, thoughts, and emotions, ability to emit high-pitched sonic vibrations, highly developed psychometrics, ability to alter an objects appearance, ability to erase once memory temporarily or permanently, ability to block clairvoyants, shapeshifting, teleportation, and psychic surgeons that reconstructs cells to its healthy state. It centred on how a certain premonition changed and saved the lives of many people.
Push composed of a main cast ensemble including Chris Evans as Nick Gant, Dakota Fanning as Cassie Holmes, Camilla Belle as Kira Hudson/Hollis, and Djimon Hounsou as Agent Henry Carver.
Although the film has a great visual effects and casts, it received a poor rating from the critics and earned only $48,808,215 from the budget of $38 million.
