The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian is the second sequel of the Narnia Film Series. Just like the previous film instalment under the series, it is also based from the popular novel of C. S. Lewis titled Prince Caspian. The film stars Ben Barnes as Prince Caspian, while previous lead actors and actresses who reprised their roles were William Moseley as Peter Pevensie, Anna Popplewell as Susan Pevensie, Skandar Keynes as Edmund Pevensie, Georgie Henley as Lucy Pevensie, Tilda Swinton as Jadis, the White Witch, Liam Neeson as the voice of Aslan, and Sergio Castellitto.
The plot of the film focused during the second time where the Pevensie children came back to Narnia. As the children of Eve returned to Narnia, they figured out that it has been 1,300 years since they have left Narnia while back in England it was just a year that they have left Narnia. There they met a young Telmarine prince, Prince Caspian who was in need of there help. They also discovered that the only way to save Narnia from the evil hands of Prince Caspian’s uncle was to help him recover his rightful throne as the King.
The film was directed by Andrew Adamson under the production of Walden Media and distribution of Walt Disney Pictures. It earned a total gross revenue of $419,665,568 from the budget of $225 million.
