Inception is a 2010 science fiction adventure inspired film that was written and directed by Christopher Nolan under Legendary Pictures and Syncopy Films Studios. It was distributed under Warner Bros Pictures last July of 2010 and earned a gross revenue of $825,532,764 worldwide from the budget of $160 million.
The plot of the film centered in a team information extractors who take valuable information by getting into one’s dream or subconscious and either extracts or implants information there. The team composes of the mastermind who plans the assault, an identity forger, a chemist who formulates a strong sedative that put them and their target into a dream, and an architect who creates the labyrinth of the dream. The danger in doing this job is that if ever the extractors die inside a dream, they will fall into the limbo and will not be able to have their straight minds when they come back into reality. Getting into one’s dreams or subconscious also has a time limit by which they have to wake up into reality before the time’s up. In order to make sure that they don’t over stay into one’s sub conscious, they prepare a “kick” or a series of action that enables them to wake up instantly. They also perform a “kick” whenever they get into an inevitable situation where they might die inside one’s subconscious.
The main casts of the film were Titanic’s Leonardo DiCaprio, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Marion Cotillard, Ken Watanabe, Pete Postlethwaite, Cillian Murphy, Tom Hardy, Dileep Rao, Ellen Page, and Tom Berenger.
It is absolutely one of the best films of the 21st century. It has an exceptional and creative plot plus multi talented casts plus genius animation works. It is definitely a film worth spending your money for. It has also garnered a lot of positive reviews from critics all over the world being noted mostly as a four star and B+ film and some even as one of the best movies of all time.
