Killers is a romance action comedy film that was released in United States and Canada last June of 2010. It was written by Bob DeRosa and Ted Griffin and was directed by Robert Luketic under Katalyts Media Studio and was distributed by Lionsgate. Its main stars were Ashton Kutcher, Katherine Heigl, Tom Selleck, and Catherine O’Hara.
The plot of the story centered in the Jennifer “Jen” Kornfeldt, who just had a serious breakup from a long term boyfriend and was depressed. She joined her parents in a vacation in Nice, France and there she met a man named Spencer Aimes. On one of their dates, Jen was drunk and told Spencer that she is not as spontaneous as she may look like, Spencer also bluntly told her that he is an Assassin but was not really happy about his job. He later realized that Jen had already passed out by the time he told her the truth and she wasn’t able to hear it. That moment made up his mind that Jen was the woman for him and he is going to quit his job to live with her in a normal life. However, things started to get a little complicated when Spencer approaches his Boss and told him that he is quitting his job as an assassin. His boss responded that “Quitting was never an option” that is with regards to their occupation. Spencer continues his plan on quitting but had later on experienced a lot of complications related to his former job and had unintentionally involved Jen.
Although the film was filled by humour and action stunts, it received poor reviews from critics and was not able to be screened before its initial released. It earned a grossed income of $98,159,963 worldwide.
