The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian

The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian is the second sequel of the Narnia Film Series. Just like the previous film instalment under the series, it is also based from the popular novel of C. S. Lewis titled Prince Caspian.  The film stars Ben Barnes as Prince Caspian, while previous lead actors and actresses who reprised their roles were William Moseley as Peter Pevensie, Anna Popplewell as Susan Pevensie, Skandar Keynes as Edmund Pevensie, Georgie Henley as Lucy Pevensie, Tilda Swinton as Jadis, the White Witch, Liam Neeson as the voice of Aslan, and Sergio Castellitto.

The plot of the film focused during the second time where the Pevensie children came back to Narnia.  As the children of Eve returned to Narnia, they figured out that it has been 1,300 years since they have left Narnia while back in England it was just a year that they have left Narnia. There they met a young Telmarine prince, Prince Caspian who was in need of there help. They also discovered that the only way to save Narnia from the evil hands of Prince Caspian’s uncle was to help him recover his rightful throne as the King.

The film was directed by Andrew Adamson under the production of Walden Media and distribution of Walt Disney Pictures. It earned a total gross revenue of $419,665,568 from the budget of $225 million.

Push

Push is an American science-fiction film that was based from the creative works written by David Bourla under the direction of Paul McGuigan. It was created under the development studio of Icon Productions and was released under the distribution of Summit Entertainment and Icon Film Distribution.

The film focused on exceptional people who had super power skills including telekinetic powers, clairvoyants, mind controllers that can implant memories, thoughts, and emotions, ability to emit high-pitched sonic vibrations, highly developed psychometrics, ability to alter an objects appearance, ability to erase once memory temporarily or permanently, ability to block clairvoyants, shapeshifting, teleportation, and psychic surgeons that reconstructs cells to its healthy state.  It centred on how a certain premonition changed and saved the lives of many people.

Push composed of a main cast ensemble including Chris Evans as Nick Gant, Dakota Fanning as Cassie Holmes, Camilla Belle as Kira Hudson/Hollis, and Djimon Hounsou as Agent Henry Carver.
Although the film has a great visual effects and casts, it received a poor rating from the critics and earned only $48,808,215 from the budget of $38 million.

Mamma Mia! Is a musical romance-comedy film that was based from the adaptation of the 1999 West End Musical entitled Mamma Mia! by Catherine Johnson.  The film was directed by Phyllida Lloyd and was created under the production studio of Playtone.

The cast ensemble of the film were Meryl Streep as Donna Sheridan, Amanda Seyfried as Sophie Sheridan, Pierce Brosnan as Sam Carmichael, Colin Firth as Harry Bright, Stellan Skarsgård as Bill Anderson, Dominic Cooper as Sky, Sophie's fiancé, Julie Walters as Rosie Mulligan, and Christine Baranski as Tanya Wilkinson.
The plot of the film focused on the young bride named Sophie who was hoping to see and to know her real father before she gets married. She also wants to have her father walk her to the aisle. She discovered three possible men that might be her father and she invited them to her wedding without informing her mother.

The film earned an average of positive reviews and had earned a box office hit under the distribution of Universal Pictures with a total gross revenue of $609,841,637 from the budget of only $52 million.

Charlie St. Cloud

Charlie St. Cloud is a family romance drama that stars Zac Efron as the lead role. The film was based from the best selling novel of Ben Sherwood entitled The Death and Life of Charlie St. Cloud. The plot of the film centred in a newly high school graduate kid named Charlie St. Cloud who has a passion for bout sailing and has won numerous awards for being a splendid and talented sailor.  He was very close to his younger brother Sam. One night, they has an accident which caused the life of his brother. Having too much love for his younger brother, Charlie blamed himself for Sam’s death and was unable to move on. He later discovered that he developed a sixth sense and is able to talk to his younger brother. He then abandons his life to work in the cemetery in order for him to spend more time with his younger brother. His life totally change when weird things started to happen and that lead him to discover what he really wanted in life.

Barbie in A Christmas Carol

Barbie in A Christmas Carol is the fourteenth computer animated film under the Barbie Animated Movie Series.  This Barbie film was heavily based on Charles Dickens’ novel A Christmas Carol. The storyline of the film was written by Elise Allen under the direction of Wiiliam Lau and distribution under Universal Home Studios Entertainment.

The plot of the film centred on Eden Starling, a singing diva from Victorian, London who basically hates Christmas. One magical night before Christmas, Eden was visited by three ghosts of Christmas namely Spirit of Christmas Past, Spirit of Christmas Present, and Spirit of Christmas Future. It was then up to Eden on what choice of path she should go on after the three ghosts of Christmas has shown her past, present, and more likely future.

The plot of the film centred into bestfriend’s Rick and Fred who was unhappy with their sex life and misses the time when they were still single. Maggie and Grace, their wives respectively, decides to give them a Hall Pass which is more likely a week off from marriage where they can have sex with any woman they like. Rick and Fred was excited on spending their Hall Passes but in the end realizes that they cannot cheat with their wives. They went into a lot of trouble having this Hall Pass but in the end had find a way to get away from it.
